So we love the "BC Tour de France" so much that we've decided to share back. Now, our news will pale in comparison, but we're hoping there is something comforting about hearing that everything is happening exactly as you expect it might. The Senators have won again, would be a good example. Harry has just filled his drawers, again, might be another.
Harry's routine is, well, routine. Sleep through the most of the night, feeding frenzies throughout the day, and lots of messy diapers. He seems to be morphing into human form lately and has been trying to communicate a little. Lots of smiles. Admittedly at things like the lampshade but at least he thinks he's making friends. He's a healthy size and is also becoming quite vocal. Not unlike Grace did at his age he loves his soother.
Grace finished her second full day at RG Sinclair yesterday. Krista watched her from the classroom door for a few minutes. Grace was watching attentively and having fun raising her hand for Mrs. McKellar. Eager to please. Good little student. Her favourite friends are Amna and Josh. The milk program is also a hit. Students can choose if they have chocolate or 2%. Sinclair is the school where Steve and Kim Jamieson teach. Nammarra Doken-George is the chair of the school council. We are attending the fall dinner for parents this thursday. James is hoping this night out may turn out to be romantic. Not likely.
Krista started back at the gym this week and had her first spinning class on Tuesday. She seems to be coming out of the fog which was quite dense. Unfortunately, it appears she may have hit a few trees while she was in there. Still, she has been doing a fine job holding down the fort. More cleaning than usual because our cleaning lady lost her mother two weeks ago, and her husband two days ago. Both very sudden losses. Seems unfair. Ironically, a couple of months ago she lost the diamond from her wedding ring. Her husband had it replaced, and then she found it at our house two weeks later. Strange coincidence?
James is enjoying his transition to KC and the start of fall hockey.
